How can dietetics professionals have an impact on institutional efforts to improve their organization’s ecological “footprint” and provide healthy nutrition messages and care for their clients, patients and students? Hear how three nutrition professionals in industry, education and health care settings have made an impact on their organizations and communities.
Learning objectives:
- Discuss sustainability of seafood consumption
- Identify ways sustainable seafood can improve overall health and wellness
- Describe the "Farm to School Initiative" and the role of the dietitian
- Cite examples of innovative methods of using locally grown foods and other sustainable initiatives in the health care environment
- Identify the measureable benefits of involving hospital dietetics professionals in these initiatives

Site Registration Fee includes:
